Good Friday 2007
Have you ever wondered why Good Friday is named "Good", when it is the day that Jesus died for us?
Our Church's Pastor gave a good explanation to us during the service today. I find the need to share with all my faithful readers. :)
He was broken so we may be complete.
He was inflicted so we may be healed.
He was carried our sins so we may be righteous.
He died so we may live.
God sent His only Son to die for us on this day, so that we may be saved through Him, and have a righteous, complete, healthy life where the devil has no control over us.
According to Rev. Kenneth W. Collins,
we call it Good Friday, as in English, we are confessing the Christian hope that no tragedy—not even death—can overwhelm God’s providence, love, and grace.
For all that Jesus had done for us, shouldn't it be a Good Friday?

Dear,Friend
Good Friday is the Friday before Easter Sunday. On this day,
Christians remember the day when Jesus was crucified on a cross.
The date of Good Friday changes every year. See our main Easter
page to find out why.
